Mazda is celebrating an entire century of automaking with a special 100th Anniversary Special Edition for its iconic MX-5 Miata roadster.
The 100th Anniversary Miata flaunts a premium Snowflake White Pearl Mica paint job and red accents, and it comes with either a retractable fastback or a red soft top. This red-and-white color scheme of the 100th Anniversary Miata pays tribute to the two-tone design of Mazda’s first-ever passenger car, the R360 Coupe.
The front fender of this exclusive Miata receives a “100 Years 1920 – 2020” emblem, while the wheel center caps show off a red-and-black anniversary logo. The interior is decked out with red leather seats, special red floor mats, and headrests embossed with the anniversary logo. The car’s key fob sports the anniversary logo, too, and arrives in an exclusively branded box.
Beyond these special features, the 100th Anniversary Mazda takes its cue from the 2020 Grand Touring trim. As such, it’s equipped with goodies like leather seats, automatic climate control, Bose premium audio, and 17-inch silver alloy wheels. This special edition is powered by the Miata’s customary 181-horsepower SKYACTIV®-G engine and can be equipped with either a six-speed automatic transmission or a six-speed manual.
The 100th Anniversary Special Edition MX-5 Miata will come later this year to Atzenhoffer Mazda. If you don’t want to wait, the regular 2020 Miata is tons of fun, too — and you can test-drive it right here at our dealership in Victoria, Texas.
